For Example: If one of your goals is to travel, don't just say "I want to
travel". Say something like this:
"This August I want to take my family to Disney World. I want to ride all
the rides with the kids, treat
my honey to
a 5 star hotel with all
the bells and whistles.
I mean mints on the pillows,
his and hers
bath robes, and a hot tub
in a room with a view.
I want to eat Lobster two nights,
eat at the best
Italian restaurant in town another night,
and have room service catered to
our room
a few
times
just for giggles." You get the idea?
If one of your goals is something material, like a new car don't
just write down the make and model:
Go to the dealership and find YOUR CAR! I mean make, model, color,
and options. Test drive it! Sit in it!
Feel the leather,
test all the gadgets.
Before you leave take a picture of
it,
ask the salesman
for his card,
and tell him you will be back to
do the paper work in 60 days.
Now go home and put the picture
on your
bedroom mirror.
Do you think this might motivate you?
It will! Do you know why?
Because in your mind YOU ALREADY OWN THAT CAR!
You just need a plan to put it in your garage!
Remember! You have now established your
"WHAT" and your "WHY". Now you must have a "GAME PLAN".
Your game plan is simply a list of the things that you will do on a
regimented schedule in order
to make your business a success,
and to reach your goals! Again I must stress the
importance of writing this down on paper.
List everything that you need to do,
and
DO IT!
There is an old saying:
"Plan your work, and work your plan!"
Four steps to a successful game plan!
1. List the things,
both short and long term, that you will need to do to
successfully
accomplish your goals. |
If you have problems, or questions, please feel free to contact
the person who introduced
you to this program and ask for help.
This is a team business. |
| 2. Arrange your list!. |
| Arrange your list chronologically with the things you determine to
be most urgent on top. |
| It is extremely important to attach deadlines to everything you
plan to do. |
..........you can't win a race that has no finish
line.........
| 4. Initiate your plan!. |
Start working your plan immediately. Starting TODAY do something
each and every day toward
accomplishing the goals you have set. | "PROCRASTINATION is your worst enemy!
The greatest labor saving device known to man is TOMORROW!"
*****************************
Once you have finished setting your
goals, and have put
them down on paper you're
course is set. You are now ready
to embark on a wonderful journey. Place your Goal Sheet
where you can
read it twice a day as a
constant reminder of
where you are going,
what you will accomplish
and most importantly
WHY!
"If you know what to do to reach your goal, it's not a big enough
goal."
